SURFACE DESIGN SHOW 2016

The Surface Design Show 2016 was held at Kensington Olympia in London a couple of weeks ago and was, as always, a brilliant place for seeing new ideas in the surface design world. As carpet tile designers it is important for us to keep up with what is happening in this market as our product will need to sit alongside these new and emerging trends. My favourite part of the show this year was the Surface Spotlight Live.

This was a curated section of the show by Healthcare Design & Management Magazine (sponsored by Concord) looking at how surface finishes can encourage health and wellbeing. It was a fresh look at new designs, tactile and also a good overview of new trends in the surface design world. From this part of the show and the other stands I have put together a quick trend round-up.
